ATF Breather

ATF breather, removing and installing
ATF discharged from the underside of the bell housing is an indication that the radial input shaft seal and/or the ATF breather may be leaking. Establish the actual cause of the fault before changing the parts.
Leaking radial input shaft seals must be replaced.
Leaking ATF breathers must be replaced.

Removing
- Transmission removed





- Unscrew bolt-B-.
- Pull ATF breather -A- out of mount.

Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to following:
- Insert new ATF - breather -A- up to stop.
- Secure ATF - breather to transmission housing with bolt-B-.
- Tightening torque: 25 Nm
