Transmission Fluid Filter

Removing

General repair notes. Refer to [Repair Information].
Observe cleanliness rules when working on automatic transmissions. Refer to [Clean Working Conditions].
Remove oil pan. Service and Repair





- Remove bolts -arrows-.
- Carefully remove filter from valve body.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
- Lightly coat seal on filter suction collar with ATF.
- Carefully press filter suction collar into the opening at valve body as far as stop.
- Install oil pan
- Fill with ATF, Refer to [ATF, Draining or Filling After Repair] ATF, Draining or Filling After Repairs

Tightening torque
filter to valve body 5 Nm
