The following information describing the central locking system will be integrated into the next update of the 100/A6/S4/S6 Repair Manual microfiche, W42-544-1 92-F13.




CENTRAL LOCKING SYSTEM (FROM 1995 M.Y.)

Beginning with 1995 m.y. production the routing of vacuum lines for the central locking system was changed.

1 - Vacuum line

2 - Activator, right/left front doors

3 - Activator, right/left rear doors

4 - Multiple connector

^ The multiple connector is permanently attached to vacuum lines except for rear lid line.

^ Removing rear lid vacuum line

5 - Activator, gas flap

6 - Vacuum line, rear lid

7 - Activator, rear lid

8 - Pump for central locking system


Note:
The connectors for the activators cannot be removed by pulling; the locator clip must be disengaged first.
