1. Release parking brake, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove rear wheel assemblies, then loosen nut and remove brake pressure regulator spring, Fig. 3 & 4.

3. Remove rubber grommet, then the wire loop from trailing arms, Fig. 5
4. Remove parking brake cables from brake backing plates and trailing arms.
5. Disconnect parking brake cables at brake calipers, Fig. 6.
6. Remove spring clip from brake caliper and withdraw brake cable from thrust bearing.
7. Insert a suitable pedal support between brake pedal and front left seat to prevent loss of brake fluid.

8. Disconnect brake lines on both sides, then plug lines, Fig. 7.

9. Remove mounting bolts for trailing arms. Do not completely remove lefthand bolt at this time.
10. Remove mounting bolt for Phanard rod, Fig. 8, then support rear axle with a suitable transmission jack, or equivalent.
11. Remove lower suspension strut mounting bolts, Fig. 9, then the lefthand bolt from trailing arm.
12. Lower rear axle.
13. Reverse procedure to install. Adjust brake pressure regulator and bleed brake system.
