Replacement Cluster, Resetting SRI
Resetting SRI1. Connect VAG 1551, select Rapid Data Transfer, turn on ignition.
2. Select 17 (instrument panel). Q & forward with ->
3. Select 10 (adaptation), Q ->
4. Select channel 05 (OEL), Q & forward with ->
5. Enter adaptation values which represent the mileage and time remaining until the 7,500/12,000km oil change. (In the case of cluster replacement on a vehicle with 6,000km, the 6,000km and 90 days remaining until the 12,000 oil change represents a value of 00006 (distance) and 00009 (time).
6. Q and confirm new adaptation values.
7. Continue with channels 06, 07, 08, make the necessary value calculations and Q/confirm new values.
