Disassembly and Assembly

Fig.58 Exploded View Of Rear Shock Assembly.:

1. Place assembly into a suitable spring compressor equipped with a positioning protractor. Note position of angle B-C, Fig58, (righthand and lefthand shocks are different) for later assembly.
2. Compress spring, then remove upper strut bolt.
3. Remove upper shock support housing, spring and spring dampner ring.
4. Reverse Procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Ensure correct position of angle B-C, Fig.58.
b. Tighten all fasteners to specifications.
