Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

Check throttle cable and accelerator pedal for smooth operation. Be sure cable is routed properly with no sharp bends or kinks. Check for frayed cable at both ends. Replace cable if frayed, kinked, or sticking. Check that throttle opens completely when the accelerator pedal is depressed to the stop, and closes completely when released.
