Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1. Remove oil pan drain plug, then drain oil.
2. Support engine using tool 10-222 or equivalent.
3. Remove cover plate from under engine.
4. On 2.0L/4-121 engines, remove four bolts from subframe, then lower subframe.
5. On 2.22L/5-136 turbo and 2.3L/5-141 engines, remove two bolts from subframe, then lower subframe.
6. On all engines, remove oil pan.
7. Reverse procedure to install, torquing oil pan attaching bolts and oil drain plug to specification.
