Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

WIPER MOTOR

80/90 MODELS

1. Switch ignition ON.

2. Run wipers until left wiper arm is positioned at a 45° angle to the left hand edge of the windshield, then turn ignition OFF. Wipers must be in this position to facilitate removal of motor and pushrods.

3. Remove wiper arms, then the wiper motor with pushrods.

4. Install wiper motor with pushrods, switch ignition ON, and run wiper motor until motor is in park position. Switch ignition OFF and install wiper arms.
