Operational Test

TEST CONDITIONS
- engine coolant temp. below 10°C (50°F)

WORK SEQUENCE
- unplug coil wire from distributor cap and connect to ground with jumper wire





- remove cold start valve and point nozzle into measuring glass (leave electrical connector and fuel line connected)

WARNING: Fire hazard. Do not smoke or have anything in area that can ignite fuel.

- actuate starter
^ fuel should spray in cone shaped pattern for period of time controlled by thermo-time switch
- wipe off nozzle with clean rag
- check cold start valve for leaks
^ cold start valve should not leak within one minute

If cold start valve leaks:
- replace cold start valve
