Shift Interlock Switch: Testing and Inspection

Park Pin Switch Test

1. Remove the center console panel Center Console Panel Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the A/T shift lock solenoid/park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light connector (B).





3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2.

- There should be continuity when the shift lever is moved out of P.
- There should be no continuity when the shift lever is moved to P.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the park pin switch Shift Lock Solenoid Test.
