DTC 90:

A/T Control System (Including PCM) Malfunction

1. Check for A/T System DTCs with the HDS How to Troubleshoot the A/T System.

Are any DTCs indicated?

YES -

Troubleshoot the indicated A/T system DTC(s).�

NO -

Go to step 2.

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

3. Test-drive the vehicle with the ACC activated.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

Is DTC 90 indicated?

YES -

Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, update the ACC unit Testing and Inspection, then recheck. If the ACC unit was already updated, replace the ACC unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.�
