DTC 113:

Lost Communication With the Gauge Control Module

1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Replace the gauge control module, and recheck.�

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

3. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

Is DTC 113 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 5.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

5. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

6. Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.

7. Disconnect gauge control module connector A (32P).

8. Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 10 and gauge control module connector A (32P) terminal No. 14.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Go to step 9.

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A H).�

9. Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 20 and gauge control module connector A (32P) terminal No. 13.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Faulty gauge control module; replace the gauge control module Service and Repair.�

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A L).�
