Rear Differential Installation

1. Place the rear differential on a transmission jack.

2. Install new set rings (A) into the groove of the rear differential (B).

3. Apply appropriate grease to the splines of the rear driveshaft inboard joints (C). Rear Driveshaft Installation

4. Raise the rear differential to the mounting level, then install the rear driveshaft inboard joints.






5. Install new rear differential front mounting bolts.






6. Install new rear differential rear mounting bolts.






7. Connect the breather hose (A).

8. Connect the rear differential harness connectors (B) and (C).

9. Install the propeller shaft. Propeller Shaft Installation

10. Refill the rear differential fluid. Rear Differential Fluid Inspection and Replacement

11. Test-drive the vehicle.
