VSA Activation Indicator Does Not Come On at Start-Up (Bulb Check)
VSA activation indicator does not come on at start-up (bulb check)1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and watch the VSA activation indicator.
Does the VSA activation indicator come on for several seconds?
YES - The system is OK at this time.
NO - Go to step 2.
2. Apply the parking brake.
Does the brake system indicator come on?
YES - Check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 47P connector. If the connections are OK, replace the VSA modulator-control unit.
NO - Repair open in the gauge control module indicator power source circuit.
