Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Remove righthand instrument panel lower cover attaching screws.
3. Remove glove compartment attaching screws, then disconnect lamp electrical connector and remove glove compartment.
4. Remove right kick panel.
5. Remove automatic seat belt control unit.
6. Remove right knee bolster.
7. On models less A/C, remove heater duct.
8. On models with A/C, remove A/C band.
9. Remove blower attaching bolts.
10. Disconnect recirculation control cable.
11. Disconnect blower motor and resistor electrical connectors, then remove blower.
12. Reverse procedure to install.
13. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures.
