Window Regulator Replacement

When replacing a window regulator assembly in an '88 Legend Coupe, the 1989-90 assembly may be used. The later assembly has greater torque which results in faster window operation. The '88 Coupe already has increased wiring size to handle the greater current. A new fuse and fuse label must be Installed in '88 Coupes through VIN JCOO9094.

20 amp fuse P/N 98200-32000

Power window fuse label P/N 38205-SGO-AO2

NOTE:

^ '88 coupes above VIN JC9009094 are already equipped with a 20 amp fuse and label.

^ For window regulator assembly applications on other years and models of Legends, refer to Parts Information Bulletin # 89-0050.

In-warranty:
The normal warranty applies.

Out-of-warranty:
Any repair performed after the expiration of the warranty may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Service Manager. You must request consideration, and get the DSM's decision, before starting work.
